The ethos of Good Grace & Humour is to build a creative affinity with couples. Its creative director, Megs, works closely with a couple. She wants to fundamentally understand what they want for their day and their flowers. She then works with the couple to distill the theme, connecting disparate elements. After all this, Megs and her team translate the couple’s vision into something concrete and beautiful.
About 80% of Megs’ buying is spur of the moment at the flower market, where she chooses seasonal flowers from local suppliers and growers.
She likes to include some unusual, off-beat elements that accentuate the beauty of the more traditional flowers, and allow designs to take their shape stem by stem, without floral foam, in a free-form style of floristry.
